Locus came from my crazy busy mind.
I was trying to come up with a name for the business and I wanted to express love and my focus and I slurred out Locus. I call it the Perfect accident!
WILL YOU BE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER
I will definitely be the photographer. If you need an additional photographer on your wedding day, you will get me and another one of my amazing and professional photographers that are all experienced in wedding photography.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK YOU
I do not take double bookings, therefore I would suggest that as soon as you have locked in your date and venue to get in touch with me. Usually 6-12 months.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE OUR IMAGES AND HOW MANY WILL WE GET
Turn around time for the digital gallery is between 6-8 weeks if not earlier! You can typically expect between 600-800 images for an 8 -10 hour day
DO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE OF MELBOURNE
Yes definitely. Although I am a Melbourne based photographer, I love travelling for location weddings and have had the privilege to be a part of weddings outside of Melbourne and Australia.
MY FRIEND USED YOU FOR THEIR WEDDING AND I LOVED THE PHOTOS BUT I DON'T WANT MY PHOTOS TO LOOK THE SAME. CAN YOU CREATE SOMETHING DIFFERENT
We have done many weddings from the same family and friend groups and we always make sure we use different locations and different angles to make your photos special for you. Every couple and every wedding is different and we accommodate to individual needs and desires.
WILL YOU HELP US WITH LOCATIONS AND TIMING FOR THE DAY
Absolutely! Based on your ceremony and reception times , I will offer suggestions for wedding photography locations to minimise travel time so we are not losing photography time in traffic and travel. I will also show you examples of the locations so that you can make the right decision.
DO YOU PRICE MATCH TO OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS
Unfortunately the answer is NO. It has taken many years to perfect the art that we offer and find the best photographers and suppliers to deliver the perfection each and every time. The service we deliver is professional and of the highest quality and this why we are respected in this industry and why our wedding clients have loved us and their wedding photos.
DO YOU DO CHRISTENINGS AND PORTRAITS
Yes we do other events too. We can photograph maternity shoots, newborn photography, christenings, family portraits and many other special moments.
